Mondays are tough, or are they? We make Monday’s look and feel bad. I feel bad for Monday, well I mean, if it had feelings. It’s not Monday’s fault. It didn’t choose to be the first day of the work-week. Heck, it didn’t even choose its name. I guess you can say I am borderline team Monday, haha. To be honest though, as yourself, was it ever really about Monday?
Sunday night, instead of dreading the work week or what’s to come what if we just made it easier. We just need to try training our brains to move/think a bit differently. When your eyes flicker open on Monday and you feel that roll of anxiety or tension. Think it through!
What has gotten to you? What is this feeling(s)? Why do I feel this way? Can I control it?
There are so many questions to be asked. I try starting with those. Let’s try working on this together and in all aspects of life. Thinking it through means you are taking the time to understand yourself. We should stop chalking it up to the day of the week, it is preposterous!
With this intent, I am naming this Motivational Mondays! Putting a positive spin on things will only benefit you in the long run. I hope you can join me on this journey on Monday intentions!
